NEW IN THE FAMILY `ARCHES OF KULLARO´
Kullaro expands the collaboration with designer Lisa Hilland, and now launches a new black and sculptural vase in the ‘Arches of Kullaro’ series at the London Design Fair. The vase made of thin cut metal that docks into an gouged base of unique black diabase from South of Sweden creates an interesting dynamic in this design.
In 2016, the first products were launched from the Arches series at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, which consisted of a pouf, mirror and table. Lisa Hilland is known for her expressive style and design with a poetic twist, working with both Swedish and international producers.
INSPIRATION
-” Through our close collaboration, Kullaro and I have found we have a lot in common; passion for design, craftsmanship, and high quality. When we started to discuss a new piece within the Arches Series this vase came up as a natural idea. Combining the exclusive and heavy Diabase with the light and delicate metal creates an interesting dynamic in this design. Personally, I can’t get enough of flowers, I love the idea of bringing a piece of nature indoors. The Arches vase with its sculptural qualities, is as beautiful with an exclusive florist bouquet, as it is with the simplest Ivy from your garden.”
